Pilates and yoga promote a mind-body focus incorporating balance, flexibility and resistance training. Both will compliment your current fitness program and are designed for all fitness levels. Consistent training can provide the following benefits:
Your yoga experience with CoreBody will be one of small group classes usually 5 - 8 clients max and therefore a great attention to alignment and detail. We offer props and modifications where necessary to challenge or modify postures.

Hatha / Yin Yoga
Hatha Yoga, also known as ‘health’, is suitable for all levels, these classes focus on physical poses, meditation and breathing techniques. Hatha yoga connects the flow of energy in the body developing mind-body awareness. Come clear your mind, rejuvenate your body and satisfy your soul.
Yin yoga is based on release work of one’s connective tissues surrounding your joints and in between the vertebrae of your spine. In most classes we also add some Restorative yoga which is a therapeutic approach to breath and body re-alignment. Both focus on calming the body and mind, finding stillness in a meditative state. The focus of both is deep muscular + myofascial release utilizing yoga props and padding such as bolsters, and blocks which allow you to melt into the postures for 2 – 3 minutes or more pending.
All these different types of yoga combined, will release, restore and re-align muscular imbalances in supported yoga postures.
We run morning classes in fall/winter/spring sessions: Wednesdays 9:30am -10:45am + Fridays 10:30am - 11:45am. If you are interested contact firstname.lastname@example.org
Hatha + Ashtanga a.k.a 'Flow Yoga' combination
Ashtanga Yoga, also known as 'flow or power yoga’, is an energetic practice, linking traditional Hatha yoga poses with a powerful breath pattern moving through a series of rigorous poses in quick succession. Learning the flow from one pose to the next makes this class unique and challenging. Standing, or seated and poses or asanas strengthen muscles as you coordinate your movement with your breath experiencing a meditative state that Ashtanga yoga instills.
Combined with hatha and then some yin yoga to end class is what this Tuesday 6:30pm class has morphed into. A combination of hatha, slow flow and some yin/restorative postures to finish the 1 hour 15 minute class. The benefit of this class is creating some heat and engery to start and then winding down to finish prior to your evening.

MELT yoga -
Release. Restore. Re-align.
This is a new yoga class as of Fall 2016! Yin and Restorative yoga combined, will release, restore and re-align muscular imbalances in supported yoga postures as Thai massage comes with each new posture. In class you will simply “melt”!
